Dewey’s Readathon, I’m In!

Well… as much as I can be.

I’ve been in a bit of a reading slump lately. I haven’t been able to finish a book in a couple of weeks. I was hoping to put in 100% to Dewey’s 24 Hour Readathon on Oct 18th but I will be travelling down to Napier for the Episcopal Ordination of Rev. Andrew Hedge, the next Bishop of Waiapu and likely to be travelling home the same day. That’s gonna take up a good chunk of the day. Probably wise if I don’t sign up to be a cheerleader because readers will only hear from me at all the wrong hours.

If I’m on to it, next week I might be able to line up an audio book to put on my iPad so I can listen to something. Gotta make the most of all the hours on the road. Clash of Kings by George R.R. Martin is available on audio from the library but it’s sooo long and likely to put me to sleep. I might have Cinder by Marissa Meyer on audio. I haven’t read it before and I can’t recall reading about robots, unless those Clockwork things count from The Infernal Devices.

If you’re interested in signing up, it’s on the 18 December and here’s a lot of need to know information in a handy dandy youtube video:
